This photo shows the handsome solid edge and the recessed dovetail hanging slot on the back of the linen mounted panel. The hanging slot allows the wood panel to be hung flush to the wall with out the need of picture wire, screw eyes, or picture framing, or glass. See dovetail hanging slots for more details. The linen panels are used for oil painting: The oil primed surface provides the oil painter with a completely prepared linen panel that is ready to be painted on.  |
