Art Boards™ Natural Fiber Watercolor Panels are mounted with Arches Hot Press 156 lb. paper.   Arches is mould-made in France with 100% cotton fiber content.  It is pH neutral and gelatin sized.  This combination creates an excellent surface for painting with watercolor, acrylics, gouache, and alkyds.  It is the perfect drawing surface for use with pencil, pen and ink, silverpoint, airbrush, mixed media and more.

The Natural Fiber Art Panel is 3/8 inch thick and perfectly flat. The back of the painting panel has dovetail slots to hang the painting flush to the wall in either direction. The painting surface has a smooth surface with minimum tooth. It is perfect for all kinds of painting, drawing and printmaking as well as collage.
